Mu Alpha Theta

Mu Alpha Theta is the math honor society.  To be eligible, a student must be a junior or senior and have an overal all GPA of 3.0 or higher.  In addition, interested students must have an accelerated math course average of 3.5 or an on level mathematics course average of 4.0.  Our interest meeting is held in August of each year, with applications due at the end of that month.  

Members contribute service hours to the school through peer tutoring and assisting at various math events within Forsyth County middle and elementary schools.  We conduct monthly meetings where we discuss/learn about mathematical topics.
