Parking Information 2026-27

To be considered for a parking pass for the 2026–27 school year, students must follow all outlined parking application procedures and deadlines.

• Eligibility: Only students who hold a valid driver's license (Class C, D, or M) by August 6, 2026, are eligible to apply.

• Fees: The parking fee is $140.

• Lot Preferences: Students will select a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd preference for lot assignments. While efforts will be made to accommodate these choices, students may not receive a lot of choice they have indicated. 

Important Deadlines

• May 4, 2026 (9 am) until May 11, 2026 (9 pm): The application will open for Rising Seniors.

• May 12, 2026 (9 am) until May 19, 2026 (9 pm): The application will open for Rising Juniors.

• If additional parking availability is identified after Seniors and Juniors have been assigned parking, the application will be made available to Sophomores.

Parking Pass Pickup

Parking permits will be distributed in late July. Students approved will receive notification. On the date you pick up your parking permit, you must bring:

• Your valid Class C, Class D, or Class M driver's license. A learner's permit is not acceptable.

• Proof of insurance for the vehicle which you have submitted in this application.

If you do not have these two items with you when you arrive to pick up your parking permit, you will forfeit your parking permit to the next person on the waiting list.

Payment of the $140 parking fee will be due when you pick up the tag. All payments must be made through SchoolPay.

• Once you are on the approved list, the fee will be added directly to your SchoolPay account. 

• Bring a printed SchoolPay receipt with you when you pick up your tag.

IMPORTANT: Students without a 2026-27 South Forsyth High School parking pass will not be permitted to park on campus.

Special notice:  Due to the increased number of students participating in a non-traditional school day, we will not be able to honor any special parking considerations for students involved in programs like Out of District, Dual Enrollment, IE2, Teaching as a Profession, athletics, band, internships, or any similar programs.  We recognize this is a huge inconvenience, but there is no way to prioritize who would receive spaces and there simply are not enough spots to fill all needs.
