PSAT/NMSQT Information – Key Details

Test Date: Friday, October 17, 2025 at 8:25 AM

• Digital Learning Day for all Forsyth County Schools students not taking the PSAT.

Registration Deadline: September 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM

• Register online through Total Registration.

• 10th Grade Students – Automatically registered free of charge; no action needed.

• 9th, 11th, & 12th Grade Students – $25 fee; must register and pay by the deadline.

Why Take the PSAT?

• Prepares students for the SAT.

• Juniors may qualify for the National Merit Scholarship based on high scores.

Testing Day Reminders:

• Arrive by 8:25 AM.

• Bring:

  • School-issued Chromebook fully charged

  • Approved calculator

  • No. 2 pencils

  • Snack/drink for breaks

Scores:

• Available online in early–mid November via the College Board Student Score Portal.
