Accelerated Career Diploma

Accelerated Career is an alternative path to earning a high school diploma for students with a clear career plan who want a faster route to the credentials needed for employment.

Unlike traditional students who complete 23 graduation credits, Accelerated Career students complete fewer courses (only 9 high school courses) and therefore are not typically eligible for direct admission to a four‑year college. Students planning to attend a four‑year college immediately after high school should consider other options.

Accelerated Career students who pursue two approved certificates, licensure‑leading programs, a diploma, or an Associate of Applied Science at a TCSG institution may use the ACE Grant. This grant cannot be used to complete an associate’s degree.

Who is Accelerated Career For?

Accelerated Career isn't a backup plan--it's a launchpad.

Built for students who know what they want and are ready to skip the waiting line, Accelerated Career students step straight into their careers with confidence, clarity, and speed.
